I know I will need a donor truck with the engine, tranny, wiring harness, ECM, and I will have to modify driveshafts, rebuild and adapt my NP241, rewire guages, new fuel pump/tank, radiator w/e-fans... We see a lot of LS swap projects nowadays on YouTube, like this video of a 5.3 liter LS swap into a 1994 Chevy truck from user AGearhead4Life. What we usually aren’t able to see however, is the details of the completed swap. Most of the time, the owner of the vehicle is the one completing the swap. Jun 11, 2014 · Most early LS1’s do not require this modification to make your tach work, but most LS2 and drive by wire ECU’s will require this fix. Today we’ll be looking at your LS1 tachometer not working on your LS1 swap or your Autometer tachometer. using these on a 53 chevy LS swap with an s10 frame. the engine mount location is the same used on a standard s10 LS swap - about 3" back from the factory mounts with setback plates. I can't speak to fitment with the s10 cab as I don't have one anymore but I can say the fitment in general with these - and for my use is great. solid quality ...
